English as a Second Language

ESL or English as a Second Language serves adults of any nationality who wish to learn our language.

The program enables its students to understand, speak, write and read English under the direction of trained educators who volunteer their services for the love of God.

Students’ needs are met at the level they enter the program - beginners who know no English, somewhat knowledgeable persons or more
advanced students.

The program follows the scholastic year beginning with Fall registration. Winter classes begin in January and end in June. There are 16 teachers on our roster. Classes are held in the Cafeteria of the St. Mary School each Sunday morning from 10:45am until 12:45pm. A notebook, pen and regular attendance is required. All is GRATIS.
